Because winter running sucks, and because I've been pushing through little nagging injuries seemingly every week, I have really slowed my runs down a little.  Today's tempo run was very easy and quite a bit slower than I would like, but I plan on running quite a few hills tomorrow so it was good to take it easy.

I also had a pretty good strength workout at the gym after work with 20 minute swim for cross-training.  The strength training is so good for my legs, I really feel like I'm getting stronger again.

Speaking of the gym ... I'm not at all a fan of my gym.  And having $112 STOLEN OUT OF MY WALLET yesterday did not do anything to endear itself to me.  Actually, it was my fault.  I always leave my wallet in the car, but yesterday it was in my jeans pocket in my bag in my locker ... which I didn't lock.  They have signs everywhere that read "LOCK YOUR LOCKER", but in a genius move - I didn't.  I usually just leave a towel and t-shirt or something in the locker while I workout, but today I left my wallet without even thinking about it.

When I got ready to pay for dinner after my workout last night I noticed the money missing.  It was the money my son gave me for his car insurance.  Luckily the little thief didn't take anything else like my credit cards or I.D.  That would have been a pain in the butt to deal with.

Oh, well - I'm a grown man and should have know better than to leave a money-filled wallet in my locker unattended ... I won't again!
