Wow ... what a great Spring day! Sunny. 80 degrees. Light breeze. Long Memorial Day weekend. Friends over later for a cookout. And a nice smooth enjoyable seven mile recovery run this morning. Couldn't ask for much more! I snapped this photo on the way to the grocery store with Michael earlier today. Man, I love this country!
When it comes to the good ol' USA, sure I know most of us don't get along politically, and there are several social and economical problems staring us in the face. But our family is thankful everyday for the sacrifice and service of those that keep us safe and free. This weekend ... we all remember and give thanks for those who serve, and especially those who gave their life protecting our freedom. We always remember that freedom isn't free. We wouldn't have this life without you. Thank you, and know that you are always in our thoughts and prayers.
...be great today!
