"Fatigue Makes Cowards Of Us All"

In watching my Mizzou Tigers bow out of the NCAA Tourney last night, I heard one of the announcers quote long time Arkansas coach Nolan Richardson ...

"Fatigue makes cowards of us all"

Vince Lombardi was actually the originator of this great line.  And although I was disappointed (but not surprised) with Mizzou's performance, I loved hearing this quote again.  It reminded me why as runners we do what we do daily!  All the miles.  All the training.  It's for that one moment in a race when you have to ask yourself if the pain and fatigue will win, or if you'll face the challenge and overcome!
