Tomorrow's The Big Day!

Tomorrow will be the 27th time I've stood at the starting line of a marathon, or ultra of some sort ...  and it can't get here soon enough. Let's get this thing rollin' already! 

It seems like forever since I've ran this distance in a race.  The last one was in March.  So of course I've got a few butterflies about the length of the race, and being able to keep my pace for that long.  But I know regardless of the outcome, it's gonna be a great day and I can't wait to get started.

But probably more than anything, I'm so excited for Michael.  It will be her second full marathon and she's gonna be awesome!  I ran the first one with her at Disney a couple of years ago and made a video of her experience (you can watch it HERE), but this time she's running it with our friend Coy of FirstInPhilly.  And I promise you that these two knuckleheads will have a great time.

Thank you to everyone who sent me messages and well wishes for the race.  Your words of encouragement mean more than you know.  And one of your comments even gave me a little extra motivation!  So good job.

So here we go.  I'll relax today, try not to walk too much, force a little sleep tonight ... and then we're off ... to hopefully ...
