Everything's Gonna Be Okay ... Baseball's Back!

I looooove running, but baseball ... well baseball's different.  Baseball's always been a part of my life.  It's my biggest passion, and part of my fiber.  And all winter long, I painfully endure the snow, the cold, and the empty stadiums, knowing that one day soon things will be better. And that day is here ... Opening Day!  My team?  The Kansas City Royals of course!  Yes, we're usually near the bottom of the League in the final standings.  But one of these years we'll climb back to the top and regain our once proud position ... and maybe that's this year.  But never mind that ... because for now, baseball is back, and everything's gonna be okay!!!
... be great today!

  2. It doesn't matter if your team is usually near the bottom of the ladder - it's a new year and anything is possible in a new year.

  3. Your Royals should have a good year, Sports Illustrated has them finishing 2nd in the division to the Tigers with 88 wins. For what it's worth I picked Cardinals over Tigers in World Series - I just think the Cardinals have such a good and balanced team. The A's should have a good year too, their pitching is stacked even with the loss of Jarrod Parker. The Nationals should be good too with all they have. We shall see what happens!

Oh, and thanks for the epic Michael Sam comment, haven't really had a chance to get back to you on it lol. You should be renamed "epic commenter" lol

  4. I must admit what I know about baseball is what I've read on running blogs. Here it is all about Rugby and Cricket. I don't follow it closely but I do have my teams. I do follow our national teams, Springboks for rugby and Proteas for cricket, more closely though.
