Good long run on a cold, windy, and snow-flurry filled Christmas day. We had a great time with the family in the morning and then after they left to take care of other committments, it was off on an 18 miler.
Really felt pretty smooth and didn't feel like I was pushing at all as indicated by the low average heart rate. My ankle wasn't horribly sore throughout the run, but I was definately aware of it. My knee felt great and was not an issue.
We went to see "The Fighter" with some friends in the afternoon, so I really didn't recover like I should have, but all in all it was a pretty good run.
