My Girl's First Marathon Video!!!

I'm sooo excited to share this with you ... it's finally finished!!! Michael's video from her first marathon at Disney a couple of weeks ago!!!

Now, it's about 15 minutes long - which I know is an eternity for the folks who click on blogs for 5 seconds and then comment (which I do too from time-to-time).   But if you've got a few minutes, please watch it in it's entirety.  I spent a lot of time editing it ... and frankly, I'm kinda proud of it!  But not nearly as proud as I am of Michael and what an amazing job she did in Orlando!  Plus it gives you a chance to see her on video ... which 'til now was mostly in pictures.  And yes, you'll have to deal with me too - but thankfully it's not much of my ugly mug, just voice mostly!

So without further adieu ... Michael's first marathon video!!! (spoiler alert ... you might tear up at the end) Enjoy!!!

  4. I'm convinced that you and Michael smile and dance your way everywhere you go. What a great video. Congrats to both of you. I've also decided that anyone who doesn't get emotional when watching people finish a marathon has NO HEART! hehe.

  15. What type of computer or software did you use to make that?

  16. Oh My Goodness!!! That was so awesome. I can't believe how emotional I got watching that. I LOVED the music, I LOVED the choir singing on the sidelines. I LOVED Michael's dancing. She seemed so calm through the whole ordeal. What a great treasure you made for her and what a positive support you were, to be there by her side every step of the way. Someday I will run a marathon and watching this makes me feel like maybe I can. Thank you for sharing your wife's awesome adventure with us. She's a hero in my eyes.

  18. oh boy..let me get my 5th tissue here...ok...you my friend the great Jim are awesome. You are a good man and fantastic husband. You should get a lifetime free pass at any kind of beard for this. What a sweet thing to do. And you did a great job, I love it. The best present for her I am sure. I get support from Bill at every race, he gets up, he brings the kids, he takes pictures and that means everything to me. you went beyond all that, you were there for the whole 26.2 miles! thank you for sharing all that with us!
